PositionSummary
“Launch” is our new pathway for graduates stepping directly into permanent roles. The program is designed for ambitious graduates (Bachelors, Masters or PhD level) who are ready to make an impact from day one, supported with on‑the‑job learning and career progression opportunities. You’ll join an engaged, multi‑disciplinary team of engineers who will help you understand the system control system landscape and gain exposure to its many dimensions.

In this role, you’ll be based in the Electrical, Electronics, Software, Control System Design, and System Security (E24S) capability group.
- Work on a wide variety of projects to support our diverse customer base.
- Design, analyse and test electronic hardware enclosure components for our Electronic Engine Controllers and Engine Health Monitors.
- Develop and understand component requirements with internal and external customers.
- Perform CAD modelling, create manufacturing drawings, and conduct tolerance stack‑ups and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Carry out FEA and thermal analyses and test mechanical designs to demonstrate compliance with required performance.
- Collaborate within a cross‑functional, agile team under the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
- Knowledge of control system design, requirements management, testing, data analysis and simulation/modeling tools.
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a variety of audiences (e.g., team members, technical experts, and management).
- Effective presentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to worksites to perform job responsibilities.
- Relevant majors:
Educated to a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Graduation eligibility:
Those who have earned their degree between December 2025 and August 2026. - Work authorization eligibility:
Ability to work in the U.S. with indefinite work authorization; no sponsor ships are available for this role.
