Job Overview
We’re looking for an Entry‑Level Process Equipment Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ operations. Join our Life Sciences North America team, and you’ll have the opportunity to support state‑of‑the‑art projects by assisting with the specification, coordination, and delivery of packaged process equipment.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will support the development of equipment specifications, datasheets, and procurement packages, while ensuring equipment is properly integrated into Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and overall facility layouts. You will coordinate closely with process, mechanical, piping, electrical, automation, architectural, and structural engineering disciplines to fully integrate packaged equipment scope into building designs, supporting constructability, operability, and maintenance requirements.
You’ll gain exposure to equipment selection, vendor coordination, and technical submittal reviews, and will help ensure that fabrication, construction, installation, and operational testing activities conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and client requirements. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks, developing an understanding of project scope, budget, and client expectations.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Desire to obtain registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Ideally you will also have:
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate and work in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience or working knowledge of Engineering Design Software tools such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Smart Plant
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes through internship or co‑op experience in life science or a similar manufacturing discipline

The base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00. Pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
