Your impact:
The Field Validation Engineer is responsible for providing technical support during the start-ups of new equipment and applications, from the validation phase to field operation. Their mission is to ensure the correct functioning of the products in the customer's facilities, working closely with the validation teams, Back Office and other areas of the organization.

Provide technical support during the start-ups of new equipment and/or applications, from the validation phase (defining and executing tests) to field start-up. Adjust the parametrization and configuration of equipment in the customer's facilities during start-up, working jointly with the commissioning team and ensuring its correct operation according to technical specifications. Collaborate in the definition of the diagnosis and elaboration of the Troubleshooting guide for problem resolution in the field.

Perform field monitoring of new equipment and/or applications in coordination with the Back Office (BO) team. Review designs from a hardware and software point of view, providing technical support to resolve problems. Analyze the hardware and embedded software requirements associated with photovoltaic inverters, bidirectional converters and energy storage systems. Collaborate in the definition of complete validation plans, including design of test cases, acceptance criteria and design of test benches for the execution of tests, contributing the field point of view.

Collaborate in the execution of functional and robustness validation tests on real prototypes in the laboratory, covering:
Environmental, climatic and electrical tests. Failure mode tests (short circuits, protections, component failures). Power control algorithms (active/reactive control) and MPPT. Real-time control of DC/DC and DC/AC converters. Battery management and monitoring (BMS / EMS). Capture and analysis of data with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, programmable chargers, etc.). Document results and generate validation reports, ensuring traceability with requirements and non-conformities.

Manage and report HW/SW anomalies, collaborating closely with firmware, control, design and embedded systems teams. Participate in the PDCA cycles (Plan-Do-Check-Act) of new equipment through the Product Non-Conformity Lists. Collaborate in the elaboration of AMFEs of design. Perform the follow-up of the product during its life cycle to identify problems in the field and optimize the validation plans.

We are looking for people with:
Academic training:
Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant technical area will be positively valued. Professional experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position and/or activity. Technical service experience with photovoltaic power converters and storage. Previous experience in HW/SW design or validation of power converters, photovoltaic inverters, battery chargers, DC/DC converters or power electronics systems. Demonstrable experience in climatic, environmental, electrical and electromagnetic compatibility tests. Demonstrable experience in test automation in a laboratory environment.

Languages:
