Calibration Engineer Hybrid Powertrain
AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) as Calibration Engineer Hybrid Powertrain. Several possibilities for Calibration Engineers within our growing workgroup that include:
- System validation engineers:
Follow a validation plan to verify the correct behavior of powertrain components when submitted to a failure - Powertrain debug engineers:
Assist production / end-of-line / dealerships and calibration teams to maintain prototypes and customer vehicles fully operational - Calibration data management:
Assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations related to powertrain components - Generic calibration engineers:
Plan and perform a wide range of tests within engine bench and vehicle on engine base calibration / emission / diagnostics or driveability - Calibration pilots:
Work together with junior and senior calibration engineers to ensure the proper development of the calibration (technical lead - overview of all activities) - Mostly gasoline hybrid platforms within our current projects
- Calibration of internal combustion engine and high voltage components
Your responsibilities:
Depending on selected role
Your profile:
- Education:
Mechanical /Automotive / or similar Engineering degree - Masters in Automotive related subjects desirable
- Provided understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics
- Competences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Creta, DDT
2000;
Matlab simulink or similar tools required - English and Spanish required
- French is a plus
- Driving license B (passenger cars) mandatory
- Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience. Preferable in hybrid systems
