Analog Devices is hiring a Senior Designer, Layout for the Hearables and Wearables Consumer Business Unit. As part of the hearables and wearables design team, you will create high-performance edge processing solutions that shape device operation, music enjoyment, and connectivity. The rise of connected voice-activated devices and wearable audio peripherals demands innovative solutions.
As a Senior Designer, Layout, you are an experienced, fully competent layout professional working independently to deliver high-quality solutions. You will handle diverse layout problems requiring sophisticated analysis and evaluation, while representing ADI on significant projects and serving as a technical resource for less experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities- Handles diverse layout problems requiring in-depth analysis and evaluation
- Works with minimal supervision on complex assignments
- Mentors junior engineers on technical aspects and best practices
- Represents organization on key projects and initiatives
- Independently designs and implements complex integrated circuit layouts
- Performs advanced timing extraction and static timing analysis
- Evaluates process flows from vendor library analysis through power usage
- Contributes to IC architecture decisions and process improvements
- Advanced Layout Expertise:
Broad application of layout principles and concepts with established proficiency - Technical Mastery:
Advanced skills in IC layout, CMOS technology, static timing analysis, power analysis, and EDA tools - Process Optimization:
Ability to evaluate and optimize layout designs for performance, power, and manufacturability - Business Acumen:
Good understanding of business objectives and market position - Team Communication:
Strong group communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience
