Practical Electronics Engineer

Nuvoton Israel, located in Herzliya, is a leading supplier of SoCs, microcontrollers, and security hardware solutions for tier-1 customers in the computing and server domains.

We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Practical Electronics Engineer to join our hardware team and play a key role in the quality assurance and validation of our internally designed boards and custom chips.

What You'll Do:

• Run full QA cycles on all internally designed boards, ensuring reliability and conformance to spec
• Debug failing boards
• Work with and manage subcontractors, primarily board assembly houses — coordinating schedules, quality standards, and deliverables
• Act as symbol librarian — create and maintain schematic symbols in OrCAD
• Build and configure lab and PC setup environments; diagnose and resolve software, OS, driver, and hardware failures

Requirements

• Practical Electronics Engineer / Electrical Technician / Electrical Engineering
  - Must
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in board QA and debug
  - Must
• Team player with a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders – Must
• Proven proficiency with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, and related tools – Must
• Solid knowledge of OrCAD — Must
• Strong PC skills: OS installation, software & driver management, hardware troubleshooting — Advantage
• High level of independence, ownership, and organizational skills – Must
• Experience working with board assembly houses or other subcontractors — Advantage
