Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Digital Manufacturing Engineer (R1‑R3) to provide data, integration, data integrity, cybersecurity, and digital manufacturing solutions. Apply digital manufacturing solutions to meet site, network, and business unit objectives for productivity, quality, and cost. Assist sites globally with technical planning, technology assessments, process control troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Lead the design and delivery of local and Global Facilities Delivery (GFD) projects.
Support gate review processes for delivery design by maintaining gate protocols and executing gates on major projects.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 2 years of academic or employment experience designing and delivering digital solutions for manufacturing processes.
- 2 years of experience with digital manufacturing including data, integration, analytics, automation, and edge/IoT.
- 2 years of experience implementing distributed computing frameworks.
- 2 years of experience applying digital manufacturing solutions to meet site, network, and business unit objectives.
- 2 years of experience with project management methodologies, including stage‑gate and phase‑gate reviews.
- 2 years of experience ensuring that business solutions are in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Part‑time telecommuting may be permitted.
- Up to 15% domestic and international travel required.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $85,467.00 - $98,287.05 per year. Full‑time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
