- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
- 9–15 years of hands‑on embedded systems engineering experience
- Strong background in systems engineering, lifecycle management, functional decomposition, and interface management
- Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining system‑level requirements and specifications
- Proficiency with engineering tools for requirements and documentation management
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities
- Effective verbal and written communicator; adept at cross‑functional collaboration
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- In‑depth knowledge of embedded control systems and communication protocols (CAN, RS‑485, BLE, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi)
- Experience with HVAC controls, energy management, or smart home systems
- Familiarity with connected product ecosystems, OTA updates, and telemetry frameworks
- Understanding of INCOSE SE Handbook, ISO 15288 standards, and Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
