Position SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced CMMS Planner/Scheduler to support preventive-maintenance planning and calibration scheduling within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have direct, hands‑on experience using Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (Blue Mountain RAM) and a strong understanding of calibration and maintenance workflows. During the six-month assignment, the role may shift from general CMMS preventive-maintenance planning toward increased support for calibration scheduling and coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Use Blue Mountain RAM to plan, schedule, track, and maintain preventive-maintenance and calibration activities.
- Create, update, and manage work orders, asset records, maintenance plans, calibration schedules, and related CMMS data.
- Develop weekly and long‑range maintenance and calibration schedules based on equipment criticality, operational needs, resource availability, and due dates.
- Coordinate planned work with Engineering, Maintenance, Metrology/Calibration, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and external service providers.
- Review upcoming and overdue activities and proactively address scheduling risks.
- Ensure work packages include the necessary procedures, parts, tools, documentation, permits, and resource requirements.
- Support calibration scheduling for GMP equipment, instruments, utilities, and facility systems.
- Monitor work‑order completion, schedule compliance, backlog, overdue activities, and other relevant performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate and inspection‑ready CMMS records in accordance with applicable procedures and good documentation practices.
- Assist with CMMS data cleanup, asset hierarchy maintenance, record reconciliation, and continuous process improvement.
- Support investigations and follow‑up activities related to missed, overdue, or out‑of‑tolerance calibration events, as assigned.
- Direct hands‑on experience with Blue Mountain RAM in a maintenance, calibration, metrology, or asset‑management environment.
- Experience planning or scheduling preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of GMP requirements and good documentation practices.
- Understanding of equipment and instrument calibration programs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and time‑sensitive due dates.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with technicians, engineers, operations personnel, Quality, and external vendors.
- Experience scheduling calibration activities for GMP manufacturing equipment, laboratory instruments, utilities, or facility systems.
- Familiarity with calibration frequencies, tolerances, standards, certificates, and out‑of‑tolerance events.
- Experience supporting CMMS master‑data management, asset records, job plans, and maintenance metrics.
- Experience working in a radiopharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing facility.
- Technical degree or training in engineering technology, maintenance, instrumentation, metrology, or a related discipline.
