Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will design and develop new processes or enhance existing ones, applying structured problem-solving methodologies to achieve excellence.

Responsibilities

+ Design and develop new processes or improve existing processes.

+ Solve problems and improve processes using structured methods such as KT, Designed Experimentation, or Six Sigma.

+ Implement Process Control and Process Discipline systems into manufacturing operations.

+ Analyze process data using statistical tools, including pareto, regression, and analysis of variance.

+ Measure and communicate performance against established objectives.

+ Review and interpret data to recommend immediate and long-term corrective actions.

+ Document processes and train operators and peers on defined processes.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical, Materials, or Ceramic Engineering.

+ 3-6 years of work experience in manufacturing process, engineering, or related fields.

+ Strong problem-solving mentality.

+ Effective presentation skills.

+ Capability to lead small process development/improvement projects.

+ Experience in innovation.

+ Process excellence certification (Six Sigma Green Belt or higher).

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gas City, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69/hr.
