Working with our Water/Wastewater team, you will you will manage projects from planning through construction, all while collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals across the firm. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys client interaction, mentoring staff, and leading complex water and wastewater facility projects. The position also provides a clear path toward expanded leadership responsibilities within the team and market sector.
What You’ll Do
- Lead marketing and project execution efforts for Water and Wastewater projects in Indiana.
- Lead marketing and project execution efforts for Water and Wastewater projects in Indiana.
- Initiate meetings with potential clients and support proposal efforts.
- Manage and execute projects in Indiana and other market locations.
- Prepare and oversee preparation of technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates. Work with multi-discipline staff in other Fishbeck offices and departments to complete design projects.
- Support the growth and expansion of Water and Wastewater services in Indiana.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary departments throughout the firm for successful project execution.
- Promote cross-marketing of services offered by other departments in the firm.
- Oversee QA/QC procedures.
- Mentor and support junior staff as needed.
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities and a desire to grow into a future Regional Manager role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- A registered PE in Indiana or the ability to become registered within a year
- 8+ years of experience or demonstrated ability in water/wastewater treatment design, project management, and business development.
- Experience leading marketing efforts and proposal writing.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC protocols, and state/local codes and regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
