JRC's DIVISION SDIO Team!

Provide Systems Safety Engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Aegis Guided Missile (AG) programs in the areas of system safety and risk assessment, including weapon system safety, environmental safety, and related safety engineering in support of Navy weapon systems. Liaison support between OGAs and MDA AB Quality, Safety, and Mission Assurance (ABQ) Directorate.

What You'll Do
  • Provide analytical support for System Safety Engineering aspects for all aspects to the Aegis Guided Missile Program Office.
  • Develop
    , review, analyze, and update safety related documentation (e.g., Statement of Work (SOW), National Environmental Policy Act, Programmatic Environmental, Safety, and Health Evaluation, CDRLs, SEP, Weapon System Explosives Safety Review Board (WSESRB), Programmatic Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Evaluations (PESHE), Safety Assessment Reports, etc.).
  • Provide support to organize, conduct, and manage the MDA/AB internal Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Working Groups across functional lines.
  • Organize
    , conduct, and manage Hazard Assessments and mitigation efforts and safety documentation.
