We are seeking a motivated and experienced Permanent Traveling Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about electrical engineering and is ready to take on projects that will challenge their skills and knowledge. The successful candidate will be expected to travel regularly to various project sites, managing the full life cycle of electrical projects, particularly in data centers.

With a focus on electrical construction, data, and power, the Electrical Project Manager will ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion, including design, construction, and commissioning.
2. Regularly travel to project sites to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve any issues that may arise.
3. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
5. Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, using a strong understanding of 480 electrical systems.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
8. Regularly update management and stakeholders on project status.
9. Continually identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
10. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in electrical construction and data centers.
3. Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Journeyman certification is a must.
4. Proven experience with 480 electrical systems, data, and power.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
9. Ability to travel regularly to project sites.
10. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
11. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
12. Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies, and standards.
