Role Description

The EHS LOTO support assists with the integrated LOTO program for the project, coordinating with project management, engineering, construction, and client teams to integrate safety into startup planning. The role ensures compliance with Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPP), Standard Technical Control Procedures (STCP), and safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Work with mechanical, electrical, and process teams to align LOTO procedures with project scope, startup plans, and commissioning schedules
  • Identify potential hazards, monitor trends, and proactively correct deviations to meet safety goals and schedules
  • Assist the LOTO Manager in training to construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning team members on LOTO procedures, ensuring all workers understand and follow protocols
  • Assist with installation and maintenance of LOTO equipment such as padlocks, tags, and isolation devices
  • Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health skills, including familiarity with applicable regulations and environmental compliance practices.
  • Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, with the ability to develop, deliver, and improve training programs for diverse site personnel.
  • Relevant experience in power generation, oil and gas, or petrochemical facilities is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in inspections and reporting.
  • Must be able to locate project location and work on site.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is preferred.
