Job Description

Duties

  • You will establish project workload with explicitly stated expectations.
  • You will monitor workload execution and make sure there are open lines of communication with each customer and all test leads.
  • You will oversee the coordination of production testing across GXM labs for all customers, ensuring both quality and efficiency in proper balance.
  • You will identify problems and work with project leads to find solutions that meet customer needs and the goals of branch managers.
  • You will lead production status meetings with all stakeholders to maintain smooth and effective communication laterally and vertically.
  • You will establish metrics to measure the health of each process and program.
  • You will contribute to Discrepancy Report (DR) status meetings and help resolve any outstanding issues.
  • You will mentor employees throughout GXM.
  • You will maintain and monitor project lead On-the-Job training (OJT) to ensure all project leads are effectively trained.
  • You will provide assistance to junior engineers in all branches, facilitating growth and strong team performance.

    Functional Area

    and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established time frames.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-4 (GS-12/13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Engineer or Scientist leading organizational programs or initiatives by managing program resources to ensure mission objective are met .
