Manufacturing Engineer - Electronic Assembly

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and implementation of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly systems. This role will drive process improvements, create technical documentation, support automation and controls initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable manufacturing operations.

Job Type

Full-time, onsite located in Indianapolis, IN

Salary

Commensurate with experience (includes salary + biannual bonus)

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, test, and implement electronic and electro-mechanical assembly systems.
  • Create technical documentation, process flowcharts, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
  • Conduct assembly time studies and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with PLC programming, controls, and automation projects.
  • Perform DFM and PFMEA analyses to improve product quality and manufacturability.
  • Support project management activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Minimum 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience with electronic and electro-mechanical assembly systems.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, controllers, communications, and other controls technologies.
