As an Application Engineer with Applied Fluid Power, you'll spend your time interacting with our technical sales team and customers to provide solutions to their fluid power and electrification needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results. We are an optimistic team focused on delivering unique solution value for our customers  productivity. Our management team provides personalized consulting and training to continuously enhance and strengthen our team offering.

This is a rewarding and challenging position from specifying customer needs to quoting, presenting, designing, and overseeing building.

Responsibilities
  • Interact with the technical sales team and customers to provide solutions to fluid power and electrification needs
  • Specify customer needs, quote, present, design, and oversee project execution
  • Contribute to electrification agenda and related engineering work
Qualifications
  • 3 years or more experience in technical fluid power
  • Strong leadership and customer relations skills
  • Motivated to perform in both team settings and individual work
  • Desire to utilize and enhance overall skills
  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Technologies (EET), or Mechanical/Engineering Technology (MET)
  • Willingness to tackle challenges including technical research
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Solid Works
  • Ability to create hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and layout drawings
  • Capable of contributing to electrification initiatives
  • Individual contributors with fresh ideas and passion for excellence are encouraged and rewarded
