Title:
PROJECT MANAGER
Department:
Water & Wastewater
Reports To:
Department Manager
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
Registration:
Professional Engineer in State of Indiana, or ability to obtain within 12 months
Experience:
Not less than 8 years in Water & Wastewater Engineering
- Efficiently complete an entire set of contract documents, including Plans, Specifications, Quantities, and Estimate
- Conduct meetings, including composing meeting agendas and minutes
- Client contact
- Work with and manage sub-consultants
- Work with and coordinate with other internal departments
- Assist in assembling Supplements, Proposals, and Engineer’s Reports
- Sign Final Tracings
- Meet deadlines
- Alert Department Manager immediately upon realization of a problem on a project
- Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding our clients and company practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Able to work in a “team” concept and direct the team in an efficient manner
- Able to efficiently work on multiple assignments at one time
- Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Excel and Word and working knowledge of Auto Cad
- Able to efficiently complete an entire set of contract documents
- Must represent the firm professionally in public
- Must be able to evaluate various water and wastewater equipment and materials
- Must be able to prepare permit applications
- Must be able to attend evening meetings with clients as needed
- Must possess the ability to interact with officials at all levels of government
- Able to work seated for 9 or more hours per work day
- Able to work 40 or more hours per work week, as needed
- Able to work outdoors traversing uneven or difficult terrain
- Able to travel throughout Indiana including overnight stays
- Possess a valid Indiana driver’s license
- Agree to abide by the personnel policies identified in the Company Policy
