- Lead cross‑functional project teams to complete Sustaining and New Product Development (NPD) projects from planning through implementation.
- Organize and lead teams using project management skills, planning, organization, communication, and collaboration; manage diverse scopes of projects with limited supervision.
- Direct activities of internal and external team members to meet project objectives; implement design changes into production and provide consultative support for other engineering projects.
- Support continuous improvement opportunities and ongoing process improvements to build the group.
- Plan, execute projects, coach team members, solve problems, and make decisions with limited direction; communicate status up and down the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical field, preferably Software or Systems Engineering.
- 3‑5 years of applied project management experience managing projects of various sizes for Embedded Software Programs.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross‑functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Applied experience with Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with Agile product development process.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Medical Device Background or Automotive Industry experience.
- Technical 4‑Year Degree.
- Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
