Electrical Engineer

Our client, a leader in medical device innovation, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Product Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Batesville, IN (Hybrid 3days onsite)
Duration: 2 months with the possibility of extension/conversion
Pay Range:$60-$65/hr on W2

• Lead technical activities in product development for electronic end-of-life processes.
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems related to current product designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external resources to update and maintain existing product functionalities.
• Collaborate with external contractors and Operations teams to enhance existing technology and drive product improvements.
• Work within a team environment, providing clear feedback to supervisors and departments.

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technology, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.
• Five to ten years of experience in design and/or development within a medical device company.
• Experience with Medical Device design controls and supporting New Product Development.
• Knowledge of FDA-21 CFR 820.30 and ISO 9001 sub clause 4.4 standards.
• Understanding of IEC 60601-1 standards for medical electrical equipment.
