Role Overview:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

• Calibrates, operates, and evaluates data from multiple specialized survey systems;
• Obtain CDL license to assist in District snow removal operations;
• Follows all related safety standards and conducts/participates in safety briefing.
• Performs research, preliminary data analysis and collects quality data on multiple specialized survey platforms.
• Performs and maintains calibration of survey systems to prescribed federal and state specifications;
• Performs maintenance, repair and system upgrades to laboratory systems as needed.
• Sets up and operates equipment to obtain survey data and performs calculations for determination of precise measurements;

Location:

This position is with INDOT’s Vincennes District.

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $47,320.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.

Individuals in this role should minimally be able to articulate or demonstrate the following:

• Must possess a valid driver license.
• Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or obtain one with the first 90 days of employment.
