- The Technical Director will not immediately have any full-time staff direct reports, but will provide leadership and supervision to TPCC volunteers.
- Shepherd and care for Production volunteer community for their campus
- Create unforgettable, creative, and inspiring production in collaboration with the Production Director
- Own and maintain of all AVL systems at their campus
- Execute sustainable processes for recruiting, auditioning, and developing volunteer production teams across all TPCC venues
- Demonstrate active growth in understanding and knowledge of audio, lighting, video, staging concepts, and equipment trends and changes
- Participate fully, as called upon, in production/leadership roles during special events
- Participate fully, as called upon, in implementing set changes at all campuses
- Own and support of all AVL systems in kids spaces
- Perform other duties as required.
- Job description is subject to change based on the organization/department’s needs.
- Serve under the direct oversight of the Production Director with dotted line oversight from the Campus Pastor
- Participate as a full member of the production staff, attending meetings and special events as required
- Actively engaged at TPCC
- Expert knowledge of audio/video/lighting in the context of worship services
- Expert knowledge of audio/video/lighting signal flows
- Strong audio/video/lighting troubleshooting skills
- Excellent leadership skills with very strong organizational abilities, communication skills, and excellent attention to details.
- Detailed knowledge of live and streaming video environments.
- Familiarity with Allen & Heath, Hog, Blackmagic, Ross Video, Resi, QLab, Propresenter, Ableton, Planning Center, Mac, and PC operating systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Formal training in production/related discipline or 3+ years of experience with technology in a modern worship production environment.
