We are seeking an experienced Plant Controller for our manufacturing operation. This role partners closely with plant leadership to oversee plant-level accounting, drive cost control, support operational decision-making, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong manufacturing finance expertise with the ability to translate financial insights into actions that improve efficiency, profitability, and performance.

• Lead plant-level accounting activities, including general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, and coordination of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, forecasts, variance analysis, and performance dashboards for plant leadership.
• Own cost accounting processes, including job costing, variance analysis, margin reporting, and manufacturing KPI tracking.
• Partner with plant operations leadership to improve labor and material efficiency, reduce waste, and support profitability initiatives.
• Lead the annual budget process and provide rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and financial modeling.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Serve as a trusted financial business partner to the Plant General Manager and site leadership team.
• Manage, mentor, and develop plant accounting staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing systems, and manufacturing KPIs.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence decisions across operations and leadership teams.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and results orientation.
