Vernovis is looking for a Servicing Account Manager with strong financial acumen and a customer service mindset. Successful candidates will confidently manage a portfolio of commercial loans while building trusted relationships with clients. Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, comfortable working with data and Excel, and can spot trends or discrepancies that could impact loan performance. Success in this role comes from balancing accuracy and responsiveness, being proactive in managing risk, staying organized across multiple priorities, and stepping up when timelines shift, especially during funding cycles or year‑end activity.

What

You’ll Do
  • Conduct financial analysis, including compliance reviews, performance monitoring, and cash flow assessments across a portfolio of commercial loans
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packages, summarizing portfolio performance and key insights for management
  • Independently manage and service multiple loans, maintaining accuracy and organization with minimal supervision
  • Review UCC filings to ensure proper lien perfection and protection of collateral
  • Lead pre‑close onboarding calls with borrowers, clearly outlining post‑close requirements and the servicing team’s role throughout the loan lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, providing ongoing portfolio oversight through financial statement analysis, collateral tracking, and responsive communication
  • Analyze and interpret loan collateral, contracts, and supporting documentation (e.g., loan agreements, commission statements, tracking reports) across various lending products
  • Collaborate closely with management and underwriting to review and validate covenant requirements prior to submission
  • Monitor and reconcile cash collateral accounts daily, ensuring accurate funding levels and maintaining detailed servicing logs
  • Proactively address compliance issues by partnering with borrowers to resolve discrepancies and bring loans back into alignment with legal agreements
  • Process cash collateral account (CCA) releases in accordance with loan document requirements
  • Leverage financial systems and tools to import, analyze, and report on policy‑level data across multiple industry segments (RIA, CPA, Insurance, Engineering, Automotive, Franchise)
What You’ll Have
  • Experience managing or supporting a portfolio of commercial loans, accounts, or financial relationships
  • Strong foundation in financial analysis, including interpreting balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow
  • Proven ability to monitor compliance with contracts, covenants, or regulatory requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and working with large datasets for trend analysis
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with teams such as underwriting, accounting, legal, or operations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with clients, both verbally and in writing, to resolve issues and provide updates
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, perform repetitive tasks accurately, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
