Come join us at an exciting time of expansion at our Indianapolis Manufacturing Plant. As the Plant Controller you are a key member of the management team and responsible for maximizing plant profitability!
What you’ll do:- Analyze and Forecast manufacturing variances
- Play a key role in assisting Plant Management in driving productivity savings to budgeted commitments
- Manage and coordinate the preparation of departmental and plant-wide budgets, forecasts
- Provide financial oversight and support for the physical inventory counts
- Maintain accurate records of all assets, liabilities and plant transactions in accordance with procedures and direction from the corporate controller’s office
- Prepare and maintain cost standards for all products produced
- Coordinate the preparation of the annual Capital Budget and related financial justification, expenditure control, and objective analysis
- Ensure that all reports, accounting data and monthly closings are completed to meet Operations and Corporate due dates
- Work with the Team Leader in meeting all corporate reporting requirements
- Provide virtual multi-site support
- Assist with internal/external audits
- Perform other related duties as required
Required:
- Four-year degree in related field – accounting preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing plant accounting and controlling.
- Ability to collaborate and teamwork.
- Good autonomy and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to travel occasionally if required.
- Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills, and ability to prioritize.
- SAP knowledge
- Certifications:
CPA, CGMA or CMA
