Join a mission-driven organization dedicated to strengthening communities through affordable housing and financial empowerment. INHP is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and help drive sustainable growth and impact.
The OpportunityAs Director of Finance, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and treasury functions while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board.
What You’ll Do- Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities to support lending and program initiatives
- Prepare and present financial reports and insights to leadership, Board members, and external stakeholders
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting (including federal grants and industry requirements)
- Guide financial strategy for real estate and lending activities, including complex project analysis
- Ensure strong internal controls, policy compliance, and financial record integrity
- Supervise and develop a high‑performing finance team
- Partner cross‑functionally to evaluate major investments, programs, and organizational decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; advanced degree or CPA/CFA/MBA preferred
- 7–10 years of finance experience, including mortgage lending or financial services
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing a finance team
- Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance (nonprofit, banking or mortgage experience a plus)
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- High level of integrity and commitment to mission-driven work
