Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Controller to join our thriving manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in financial reporting, financial analysis, financial planning, business analysis, process improvement, accounting, leadership, forecasting, strategic planning, financial modeling, corporate finance, internal controls and financial audits. Responsibilities- Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports accurately and timely.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing detailed and insightful analysis to support strategic decision making.
- Collaborate with plant management to develop strategies and plans for improving operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external financial regulations and standards, including conducting financial audits.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA or CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, financial planning, business analysis, process improvement, accounting, leadership, forecasting, strategic planning, financial modeling, corporate finance, internal controls and financial audits.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and develop a high‑performing team.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the use of financial software and systems, including advanced Excel skills.
- Proactive and results‑driven approach, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
