Internship Opportunity
We are seeking highly motivated intern to join us at Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Finance related topics within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily e-invoicing for both accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Assist with asset tagging and other asset management activities to maintain accurate records.
- Support tax filing processes and other compliance-related tasks as required.
- Oversee letters of credit, advance payments, and bank guarantees issued by customers; verify document completeness before submission to banks.
- Assist in preparing key financial reports, including the AML report, Maveric Buy report, weekly accounts receivable aging report, and weekly revenue report. Support journal voucher preparation and related documentation as needed.
- Support the implementation of internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) procedures to maintain compliance with headquarters' policies.
- Provide assistance during external audits by ensuring that all required documentation is complete and submitted promptly.
- Participate in various team projects and assignments as directed.
Specific Knowledge and
Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting and Finance, or related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be able to complete 6 months internship (start date 1st Sept – 28 Feb
27)
Qualifications:
- Degree / Professional Study in Accounting
- Microsoft Excel – Expert
- Microsoft PowerPoint – Intermediate
- Microsoft Word – Intermediate
- Microsoft PowerBI – Basic
- SAP – Preferred
- English – Advance Level
- Bahasa Malaysia – Advance Level
