Agricultural / Commercial Lender Terre Haute Area | Community Bank | Urgent Search

A well‑established rural community bank serving the Terre Haute area is seeking an experienced agricultural/commercial lender to join its lending team. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship‑focused lender who enjoys working directly with customers, developing business, and making an impact within a true community bank.

This is not a ground‑up, start‑up lending position. Instead, you'll have the opportunity to step into an established role with an existing portfolio while continuing to grow your own relationships throughout the market.

• Develop and manage agricultural and commercial lending relationships.
• Grow an existing portfolio while generating new business opportunities.
• Meet with business owners and agricultural producers to understand their financing needs.
• Structure, underwrite, and present commercial and agricultural loan requests.
• Perform your own credit analysis and financial underwriting.
• Maintain strong relationships through exceptional customer service and community involvement.
• Ensure lending activities comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

• Experience in agricultural and commercial lending within a community bank.
• Ability to independently analyze financial statements and complete credit underwriting.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of commercial loan structure, documentation, and the closing process.
• Self‑motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with the local market is strongly preferred.
