Location: Francesville

Responsible for management, development and leadership of the Deposit Operations and Electronic Banking teams. Supervises all deposit operations ensuring complete, accurate and timely completion of activities. Processes include but are not limited to account reconciliation, Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing, wire processing, account maintenance, payment processing, debit card program support, online banking and dispute processing.

  • Manage Deposit Operations and Electronic Banking and facilitate weekly L10.
  • Lead & Manage the Deposit Operations and Electronic Banking teams. Hold teams accountable for goal achievement, bank success and compliance.
  • Manage teams that respond to internal and external customer inquiries, and problem solve deposit and electronic banking related issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure department duties and reconciliations are completed accurately, efficiently and timely.
  • Understand deposit applications within the Bank's core system and ensure applications within the system are configured and operating accurately.
  • Oversee the deposit application and General Ledger (GL) structure to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Serve as an administrator of core banking system.
  • Manage new product development within Bank's core banking system.
  • Work closely with other departments to collaborate on projects and new product development.
  • Oversee the Individual Retirement Account (IRA) portfolio, ensuring reporting is completed.
  • Manage all technologies and contracts related to deposit operations and electronic banking.
  • Work with outsourced vendors to ensure service accuracy.
  • Manages department risk assessments and policy and program reviews.
  • Supervise and create accountability through performance management against objectives to build motivation and commitment.
  • Establish Department and individual goals while engaging Team to take ownership of achieving goals; conducts one-on-one coaching with Team.
  • Strive to meet/exceed established Department and individual goals while taking ownership of achieving those goals.
  • Create and contribute to a positive work environment that facilitates exceptional service and employee engagement.
  • Build and maintain Team through onboarding and exit process.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
  • Promote the bank’s products and services.
  • Participate in volunteer activities.
  • Ensure continuous training and development for self and Team.
  • Follow policies and procedures to protect the bank from risk and exposure.
  • Ensure compliance and audit controls are followed to protect the bank from unnecessary risk and exposure.
  • Actively use the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to align business goals, drive accountability, and ensure effective communication across teams.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position supervises the Deposit Operations and Electronic Banking teams.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in a clerical office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment. This position requires manual dexterity and the ability to lift, bend, or stand as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Full-time employee must work 35-40 hours per week average to maintain full-time status.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Deposit Operations experience required; leadership experience preferred
