The Private Banker is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, responsible for delivering personalized banking and wealth solutions to high-net-worth and mass-affluent clients. Day-to-day activities include developing and managing client relationships, assessing financial needs, and recommending appropriate banking, lending, and investment products. The role involves creating tailored financial strategies, coordinating asset allocation and wealth management plans, and monitoring client portfolios for performance and risk.
The Private Banker will collaborate with internal partners across lending, deposits, and operations to ensure seamless service, while proactively identifying new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and community engagement. The position requires maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance, documentation accuracy, and professional ethics.
- Demonstrated expertise in Private Banking and Finance, with the ability to deliver tailored solutions to affluent clients.
- Strong Financial Planning and Investments skills, including experience developing comprehensive wealth and retirement strategies.
- Proficiency in Asset Allocation, portfolio construction, and risk assessment aligned with client objectives and risk tolerance.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service and trust-building.
- Proven ability to grow a book of business through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
- Knowledge of banking products, credit structures, and regulatory requirements relevant to consumer and small business clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional designations such as CFP, CFA, or equivalent are a plus.
- Comfort working on-site in a branch or office environment and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
