The Budget Analyst & Federal Grant Manager for the Indiana Department of Revenue provides high-level financial consulting, advanced budget analysis, and full lifecycle federal grant management. The position ensures assigned areas remain within approved budgets, evaluates fiscal trends, oversees federal grant compliance, and delivers analysis to support executive decision-making. This role requires significant independent judgment and expertise in state and federal fiscal processes, financial systems, and regulatory requirements.
Keyqualifications:
- Eight years of full-time professional experience in federal grant management, government budgeting, financial analysis, or related fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with EUNA Grants management portal and People Soft Financials
- Ability to analyze and solve complex fiscal, budgeting, and grant-related issues
- Ability to work independently and establish effective working relationships
