Join our team! Successful and leading title insurance agency seeks a highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Escrow Officer with a positive attitude to be a part of our team. Attention to detail, great communication skills (verbal & written) great organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.

• Interact and coordinate with industry contacts such as realtors, loan officers, underwriters, brokers, buyers, and sellers and other involved parties to facilitate proper pre and post-closing procedures.
• Comply with all state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow accounts
• Monitor progress in compliance with all terms and conditions of purchase contracts
• Review closing instructions to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing and funding.
• Work closely with clients to accomplish a closed transaction in a timely, efficient and error-free manner.
• Order updates from the underwriter and determine clearance to close.
• Calculate and prorate taxes, interest, and insurance for settlement statements Ensure taxes, insurance, and loan payoffs are properly accounted for
• Assemble and deliver closing statements to buyers, sellers, brokers, agents, and lenders
• Accurately disburse funds and ensure recording of necessary documents in a timely manner.
• Hold funds, property, or documents in trust until all contractual obligations are satisfied
• Prepare, review, and verify escrow agreements, and closing documents for accuracy
• Assemble and send completed loan and closing documents and packages to all applicable parties

• 5+ years of escrow experience
• Knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, legal documents, and real property law a plus
• Must be licensed as an Escrow Officer.
• Knowledge of Soft Pro Select a plus
• Great time management skills
• Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work in both team oriented and self-directed environments.
• Detail-oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information.
• High level of accountability
• Customer service oriented
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
