The Grant Coordinator for Victim Services works for the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, managing grant development, coordination, and administration for victim services programs funded through state and federal sources. The role involves reviewing grant applications, monitoring compliance, providing technical assistance to grantees, and ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations across DOJ, OVC, OVW, and other funding streams.
Key qualifications- Advanced knowledge of grants, grant application processes, and pertinent rules and regulations
- Advanced knowledge of programs, program planning, public administration, and the political system as they relate to grants
- Ability to interpret and apply grant rules, regulations, and procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Minimum three (3) years of work experience in grant programs, program planning, public administration, or related fields
