The position requires broad environmental knowledge, independent judgement, and frequent field-based work, with a valid driver's license required.
Keyqualifications:
- Five or more years of environmental or environmental public health experience
- Thorough knowledge of chemistry, biology, hydrology, and environmental sciences related to drinking water programs
- Ability to conduct inspections, surveys, and investigations of facilities and interpret findings
- Excellent research and writing skills for preparing accurate reports and regulatory documents
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with diverse parties including regulated communities and government offices
- Valid driver's license
