The Indiana State Police seeks a professional staff employee responsible for classifying, searching, and identifying known fingerprints using Henry and AFIS, to build and maintain a criminal history repository.
You will learn to locate previous records by name and date of birth, compare fingerprints to ensure identity, retrieve and prepare SID’s, and take acceptable fingerprints. Training includes basic fingerprint school in year one, leading to advancement after successful completion.
