Overview
The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive onboarding and clinical training across the organization, with a primary focus on preparing Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide high‑quality, ethical, and consistent ABA services. This role leads all initial onboarding for new hires—clinical and non‑clinical—covering company policies, procedures, compliance expectations, and organizational standards.
In addition, the Training Specialist designs and facilitates cohort‑based RBT training both virtually and in person, focusing on ABA foundations, B Above clinical expectations, and therapy implementation aligned with supervision and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong educator, communicator, and culture carrier who bridges organizational expectations with clinical excellence.
Qualifications Required- RBT certification in good standing (or BCBA with significant RBT training experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering ABA services
- Demonstrated experience training, coaching, or mentoring RBTs
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and instructional skills (virtual and in person)
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑through
- Comfort with virtual training platforms and learning management systems
- Experience developing training curricula or onboarding programs
- Experience training across multi‑site or remote environments
- Familiarity with competency‑based training models
- Prior leadership, senior RBT, or trainer role in an ABA organization
- Adult learning and instructional design
- Clinical skill translation and modeling

- Combination of virtual and in‑person training
- Occasional travel for in‑person training as needed
