Health Educator
The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive onboarding and clinical training across
the organization, with a primary focus on preparing Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide
high-quality, ethical, and consistent ABA services. This role leads all initial organizational onboarding for
new hires—clinical and non-clinical—covering company policies, procedures, compliance expectations,
and organizational standards.
In addition, the Training Specialist designs and facilitates cohort-based RBT training both virtually and in
person, focusing on ABA foundations, B Above clinical expectations, and therapy implementation aligned
with supervision and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong educator, communicator, and
culture carrier who bridges organizational expectations with clinical excellence.
Qualifications Required- RBT certification in good standing (or BCBA with significant RBT training experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering ABA services
- Demonstrated experience training, coaching, or mentoring RBTs
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and instructional skills (virtual and in person)
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
- Comfort with virtual training platforms and learning management systems
- Experience developing training curricula or onboarding programs
- Experience training across multi-site or remote environments
- Familiarity with competency-based training models
- Prior leadership, senior RBT, or trainer role in an ABA organization
- Adult learning and instructional design
- Clinical skill translation and modeling
- Organizational alignment and culture building
- Quality assurance and consistency
- Collaboration and influence without direct authority
- Combination of virtual and in‑person training
- Occasional travel for in‑person training as needed
