Responsibilities
Ascension St. Agnes is looking for a OB/GYN Physician Assistant for our team!
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Agnes Hospital to provide medical services to patients.
Position Highlights:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 3 months of hire.

DEA and CDS required to start

PA will be expected to work the holidays that fall on their weekends. They will be paid 1.5xbase rate for holidays worked

Weekend night shift will be paid at 1.5x base rate other nights shifts worked will be paid at base rate
Responsibilities:
Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervisionof a physician.

Obtain patient history and perform assessment.

Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.

Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.

Provide counseling and education of patient and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required. Verified by local credentialing office.

Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred. Verified by local credentialing office.

Education:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

1 year of experience preferred.
