Job SummaryThis position oversees patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensures timely, accurate, and professional services. The role is responsible for the timely and accurate resolution of patients’ accounts, including obtaining specific information to generate accurate financial and demographic records, insurance verification, prior authorization, and coordination of benefits. The candidate will communicate with payers and patients to achieve accurate financial information, handle accurate registration of patients, schedule recurring appointments, answer incoming calls, and direct patient and visitors appropriately.
The position participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities as required, and participates in infection control, equipment training, regulatory compliance, organizational safety, and fire safety programs. Additionally, the role orders, distributes, and maintains designated supplies. The position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.

- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- 0–3 years of customer service/medical experience desired.
- Minimum one-year medical office experience or combination of extensive customer service work experience and education in insurance verification, patient registration, and medical terminology preferred.
- Requires basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS).
