OverviewWe are seeking an Associate Scientist to join IQVIA’s laboratory business in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will perform routine analysis and laboratory testing procedures on pre‑clinical and/or clinical specimens, ensuring accurate documentation and timely review of results.
What You’ll Be Doing- Perform and document analytical procedures in compliance with methods and regulatory guidelines.
- Assess analytical progress and verify results are within acceptable tolerances through routine data analysis.
- Identify abnormal results or potential quality issues and elevate them promptly.
- Prepare buffers and solutions for analysis as required.
- Conduct calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Assist in writing and reviewing laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Train junior staff and support onboarding activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety and 6S requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or related field.
- Proficiency in pipetting and basic laboratory techniques.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and infection control practices.
- Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary by work area and tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality control metrics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with automation or specialized lab equipment preferred.

CompensationThe potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $43,000.00 – $89,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on factors including job‑related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part‑time). Additional incentives, bonuses and other compensation may be offered along with a range of health, welfare and related benefits.
