The Extremity Sales Manager (XSM) is responsible for driving adoption of Atri Cure's Cryo Nerve Block Therapy for pain management in extremity amputation procedures within an assigned geography. This role plays a critical part in expanding awareness, building clinical advocacy, and establishing the therapy as a standard of care across hospitals and health systems.
The XSM will develop and execute a strategic territory business plan, prospect and close new opportunities while partnering closely with surgeons and related departments within hospital systems. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with adjacent sales teams to educate, train, and support physicians and clinical staff on Atri Cure's pain management solutions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, and comfortable navigating complex healthcare environments, with the ability to influence across departments and at the system level.
This role blends strategic planning, consultative selling, and clinical education to deliver meaningful impact for patients and providers alike.
- Develop, implement and execute a strategic business plan for a designated territory to achieve assigned objectives.
- Continually identify new customers, contacts and opportunities.
- Increase penetration and adoption within existing accounts to build upon and grow the base business.
- Identify and educate key health care professionals that manage post-operative pain in the hospital setting.
- Manage and coordinate customer visits, educational programs, procedural observations, proctoring, and relevant trade‑show participation.
- Collaborate with multiple franchise Area Sales Directors and sales representatives/managers to cross‑functionally coordinate activities and targeting between the cardiac reps and cryo
NB reps. - Form relationships with hospital administration to understand hospital dynamics; develop and present the value proposition of the therapy for administrative buy‑in.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales to implement and execute strategies to achieve corporate objectives.
- Responsible for satisfying the requirements for hospital account and credentialing processes.
- Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Specific knowledge and selling or support experience related to post‑operative pain management is an asset.
- A documented track record of successful sales quota achievement within the medical device industry.
- Strong clinical and technical aptitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: must enjoy and excel at personal relationship building.
- Problem‑solving / troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to travel up to 40‑60% depending on territory.
- Ability to pass account and hospital credentialing.
