Description

We are looking for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in a full‑time, exempt role. The BCBA will directly oversee client programming, ensure ethical practice, and drive measurable progress for a caseload of 6‑8 children while partnering with RBTs and supervisors to elevate team performance.

Position Description

The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will accelerate client success through direct oversight and care of client programming for an approximately 7‑client caseload in their assigned location. Key responsibilities include maintaining clinical quality, prescription fulfillment, ethical practice, and client outcomes while embodying our core values of integrity, creativity, respect, teamwork, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet prescription fulfillment and authorization goals (average 25 billable hours per week).
  • Conduct parent training and caregiver collaboration both in clinic and home.
  • Maintain relationships with parents and provide at least one parent training per client per month.
  • Ensure programming is ethical, individualized, and implemented with integrity; oversee programming in center and community settings.
  • Design and implement treatment plans for assigned clients.
  • Update progress reports and monitor ABA programs, including initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Directly supervise behavior technicians and oversee assigned RBT supervision hours.
  • Stay current on research and best practices; model evidence‑based practice.
  • Fill in for therapy as needed and promote Bierman Autism Centers within the community.
  • Assist Clinical Directors with initial assessments and BACB student supervision.
  • Document all activities per BACB and funder guidelines.
Essential Functions
  • Lift and carry clients up to 30 pounds.
  • Restrain, hold, transport, and use quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Support Plan.
  • Assume and maintain various postures—kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing—for extended periods.
  • Walk and run to chase clients while maintaining a three‑foot distance.
  • Attend to basic needs—feeding, diapering, toileting, dressing.
  • Perform manual dexterity for data collection via computer and electronic devices.
  • Read and comprehend written communication on computer, electronic devices, and paper.
  • Transfer written data into electronic files or data‑base systems.
  • Work prolonged periods on a computer while sitting at a desk or on the floor.
  • Assemble, clean, and maintain therapy space—including toys and furniture.
  • Administer medication to clients.
Job Requirements
  • BCBA or BCBA‑D certification.
  • Licensure in the state(s) of practice where applicable.
  • Strong organization, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Preferred clinical experience in early intervention, precision teaching, and behavior reduction.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication with colleagues, direct reports, and caregivers.
  • Excellent time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately.
