Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a travel RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) for a 13‑week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Location: Facility in Indianapolis, Indiana
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate appropriateness of diet order for diagnosis and recommend diet order changes as indicated
- Instruct patients and patient families on dietary principles, restrictions, and practical strategies to achieve health goals per physician diet order
- Conduct patient visitations including screening for nutrition concerns relating to malnutrition, tube feeding, TPN, and special diets related to disease
- Develop personalized nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of the patient's current health
- Monitor the effectiveness of nutrition plans, adjusting as needed to improve outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to include physicians, nurses, and aides
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice for Registered Dietitians
- One year of recent experience as a registered dietitian
- Valid Dietitian license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Preferred Cer.
A.T (ASATT) - Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move around, move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend
