Responsibilities
- Partner with physicians and staff to provide patient‑centered care.
- Offer age‑appropriate and culturally sensitive care to patients and families.
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
- Implement conventional ventilation methods and perform duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, and storing respiratory equipment.
- Earned an Associate’s Degree from an accredited respiratory care program.
- Held an Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP).
- Registered by the NBRC or eligible for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Experienced in respiratory therapy with knowledge of treatment modalities.
- Adept at communicating tactfully and effectively with patients, staff, physicians, and visitors.
- Capable of evaluating and providing exceptional care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
- Committed to patient care and professional growth within a highly skilled unit.
