Speech Language Pathologist; SLP in Straughn

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license and certification to practice in Indiana
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs
• Develop and implement individualized education programs tailored to each student
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of services and student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings as needed
• Offer guidance and resources to families and educators to support carryover of skills outside of therapy sessions
• Stay current with best practices, licensure requirements, and continuing education in the school-based SLP field
