American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience proficient in both peripheral vascular and neurovascular IR procedures.
Details- Work in a Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke facility in an Interventional Radiology unit with 4 IR rooms (2 single-plane and 2 biplane Siemens C-arms)
- Two IR techs are assigned to each room — one circulates and one scrubs
- Cases include angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
- Cerner charting experience required
- Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility
- Minimum of 2 years of IR technologist experience
- Proficiency in both peripheral vascular IR and neurovascular IR required
- Experience scrubbing peripheral and neuro cases including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, drainages, upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required (AHA and RQI accepted)
- Cerner charting experience required
- 2 supervisor references required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Indiana residents are considered local candidates and are eligible at a modified pay package
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Any permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have a 12-month gap before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break
