Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, organizing and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients.
Establishing a plan of care, utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment and techniques within the scope of occupational therapy.
Educating the patient and/or the caregiver about the findings of the evaluation, goals of the occupational therapy program, plan of treatment, home programs, injury prevention and other related information.
Communicating effectively and working cooperatively with other patient care team members.
Assisting in directing OT Assistants, Volunteers, Interns and Students in their caseloads, including treatment planning, goal setting, progress evaluation and documentation.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with certification from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
- State of Indiana Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
- Current basic life support certification.
Will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals in outpatient & inpatient settings with a wide range of diagnoses.
