Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Technologist – Indiana
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time assignment with on-call every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM). Two IR technologists assigned per room – one circulates while the other scrubs. Flexibility required for floating to affiliate facilities as needed.
Highlights:
- Work in a state-of-the-art facility featuring 4 IR rooms equipped with 2 single plane and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms
- Level 1 Trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 Stroke center providing comprehensive vascular and neuro interventional procedures
- Advanced case mix including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions
- Experience with both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR required
- Cerner EMR system utilized for documentation
- First-time travelers accepted
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT (R) certification and BLS required
- Active Indiana state license (must be in hand prior to start date)
- Proficiency in scrubbing both peripheral and neuro cases
- Level 1 Trauma center experience required
- Demonstrated competency in stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
- Experience with Siemens equipment required; familiarity with IVUS, Penumbra, Med Rad Power Injector, and ultrasound preferred
- Two supervisor references required
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
