To support a growing healthcare practice, the part‑time Patient Services Representative will manage patient calls, resolve inquiries, and update account information while working remotely.
Key responsibilities- Receive and handle patient/client calls, ensuring a positive experience
- Review accounts to obtain insurance information and process payments or referrals as necessary
- Perform pre-verifications for eligibility and communicate any Patient Services issues identified
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a healthcare setting or insurance-related field
- Previous call center experience is highly desirable
- Fluency in Spanish, both oral and written, is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices preferred
